The CBSE has announced the CTET Exam 2024 eligibility criteria for the December session, set by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education). The Candidate Passed Senior Secondary or Class 12th Exam with Minimum 50% Marks & Passed or Appearing in the Final Year of the 2 Year (Diploma in Elementary Education) D.Ed OR
The Candidate Passed Senior Secondary or Class 12th Exam with Minimum of 45% Marks & Passed or Appearing in the Final Year of the 2 Year (Diploma in Elementary Education) as per rules in NCTE Regulations, 2002 OR

Step 3 – Complete the Online Application Form
Fill in all the required details in the online application form. This includes personal information, educational qualifications, and contact details. After completing the form, make sure to note down your Registration Number or Application Number for future reference.

Step 4 – Upload Required Documents
Upload your latest scanned photograph and signature. Ensure that the images meet the specified dimensions and file size mentioned on the website. The photograph should be clear and the signature should be legible.

Step 5 – Pay the Examination Fee

CTET Exam Pattern 2024

All the questions in the CTET exam 2024 will be MCQ’s (Multiple Choice Questions), each with four options, where only one option is the correct answer. Each question carries one marks, and there is no negative marking. The CTET consists of two papers –

  • Paper I – For the individuals aiming to become teachers for classes 1st to 5th.
  • Paper II – For the individuals aiming to become teachers for classes 6th to 8th.

Note – If a candidate wishes to teach at both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII), they must appear for both Paper I and Paper II.
