SSC CGL Selection Process 2024
The SSC CGL Examination 2024 will be conducted in two tiers. The SSC CGL Tier-I Exam will be an online, (CBT) computer based test. This exam is qualifying in nature, which means its marks will not be counted towards the final results.. However, only those candidates who pass the SSC CGL Tier-I Exam will be eligible to take the SSC CGL Tier-II Exam.
The SSC CGL Tier-II Exam consists of three papers – Paper I, Paper II.
- Paper I is mandatory for all posts.
- Paper II is for candidates aiming for the position of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation.
Candidates who qualify in the SSC CGL Tier-I Exam will advance to Tier-II Exam. The cut-off scores for the SSC CGL Exam 2024 will be released separately for each of the Tier-II Exam. i.e for Paper I, Paper II.
