SSC MTS Exam Selection Process 2024
For the post of MTS, the selection process will include a Computer Based Examination (CBE). For the post of Havaldar, the selection will comprise a (CBE) along with a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Physical Standard Test (PST).
The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in Hindi, English, and 13 regional languages, namely – (1) Assamese, (2) Bengali, (3) Gujarati, (4) Kannada, (5) Konkani, (6) Malayalam, (7) Manipuri (Metei or Meithei), (8) Marathi, (9) Odia, (10) Punjabi, (11) Tamil, (12) Telugu, and (13) Urdu.
SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2024
The Computer Based Examination will take place in two mandatory sessions – Session-I and Session-II, on the same day. Candidates will have 45 minutes to complete Session-I, which will automatically close after this time. Once Session-I ends, Session-II will begin immediately and will also last for 45 minutes. The examination will consist of objective type multiple-choice questions. Questions will be available in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages for Session-I and the General Awareness Section of Session-II. There is no negative marking in Session-I, but Session-II will include a penalty of one mark for each incorrect answer. The Candidates should keep this in mind while responding to the questions.
