UPSC NDA 2024 Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualifications –
Candidates applying for the Army Wing of the National Defence Academy – must have passed the 12th class exam under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or an equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or University.
Candidates applying for the Air Force and Naval Wings of the National Defence Academy, as well as for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy – must have passed the 12th class exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or an equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or University.
2. Age Limit –
Only unmarried candidates, whether male or female, born between 2nd January 2006 and 1st January 2009, are eligible.
3. Nationality –
Candidates must be unmarried and meet one of the following criteria 1 – a citizen of India, 2 – a subject of Nepal, or 3 – a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
